WHAT WE DO

What We Do

Organizations and advocates work hard, every day, to solve the nation's environmental problems. But no single person or organization can change the world on their own. It takes an informed and engaged public to get things done.

That's where we come in.

We inspire people to learn more, take action and build lasting connections to our precious lands and waters. We achieve this through highly-tailored and strategic outreach and communications campaigns, coalition management and by building organizational capacity.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission

Biodiversity Project researches, designs, implements and evaluates communication and education strategies that inspire individuals, civic institutions and elected and appointed leaders to make the connection between their values and environmental causes. Our work motivates targeted audiences to value the role of healthy ecosystems in sustaining quality of life and to take action to protect and restore the Earth's natural resources and to use them sustainably.

Our Services

Communications Strategy
We employ an audience-centric approach that considers the specific values and beliefs of the target audience.
Biodiversity Project has a successful history of bringing together and facilitating diverse groups with varied agendas to achieve common goals.
We have extensive experience creating a full range of top-quality, cost-effective materials from full exhibits and brochures to websites and environmental beer coasters.
Biodiversity Project commissions, manages and disseminates public opinion studies that help organizations develop smarter and more incisive education and communications campaigns.
Building the communications capacity of environmental groups is a critical component of our work. We increase individual and coalition-wide communications capacity through half or full day workshops and trainings, project-based consulting hours and communications audits.
Biodiversity Project works within limited municipal budgets to help meet necessary education and outreach goals on issues like stormwater pollution.
