HISTORY

Biodiversity Project began as a part of a think tank in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1995. Even then, we were on the forefront of using values-based messaging in the environmental community. Biodiversity Project conducted many groundbreaking public opinion polls that explored serious environmental issues like biodiversity, sprawl and Great Lakes protection.

In 2008, Biodiversity Project moved to Chicago and expanded our mission. Now, we not only conduct research, but we also build coalitions, develop strategies, create campaigns and evaluate progress. While our mission and expertise has expanded, Biodiversity Project still uses the methods we pioneered in creating and implementing education and outreach campaigns over 15 years ago.

Our current projects include work with a variety of partners in the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Region.
