Resources: Message Kits

Over the past decade the Biodiversity Project has produced a number of issue-specific "message kits." These message kits are designed to provide recommendations and resources for environmental and conservation organizations looking to improve and/or coordinate their communications efforts on a particular issue.

Each message kit draws upon public opinion research and provides values-based communications recommendations, as well as supportive resources and materials.

Our message kits were originally produced as hard-copy booklets. However, our more recent kits have been designed as interactive, online products. Our message kits include:

Healthy Lakes, Healthy Lives
Updated April 2008

This online kit was created to help organizations, agencies and/or businesses play a strategic role in the campaign to restore our Great Lakes, and to encourage and support HOW members in their use of unified messages. Learn more about the Health Lakes, Healthy Lives campaign and message kit in Our Programs section. The online message kit itself is password protected, but if you would like to use the kit, visit the log-in section of the kit and follow the instructions provided there.
