  This message kit is a resource for outreach by nonprofits on issues related to biodiversity and sprawl. We hope it serves as a springboard for new activity. 

   The kit is comprised of the following sections:

 - Introduction: table of contents, preface, and acknowledgements
 - Fact Sheets:  a factual section that includes information
                       about biodiversity and how it relates to sprawl
 - Communications Sheets: a message section that includes
                       communications tips for talking about sprawl and
                       related issues
 - Resources:    sample smart growth and biodiversity ads and
                       logos, with information on receiving a CD with
                       these ads for use in local communications
                       campaigns.  Also includes a glossary of terms
