After years of working with the Chicago Wilderness alliance as an active member and volunteer on their communications committee, Biodiversity Project is now officially working as the public communications arm of the alliance. Together with alliance staff and communications committee members, Biodiversity Project guides the development of communications strategies, pilot communications projects, new promotional and educational materials and social media efforts. The overarching goal of the Chicago Wilderness communications campaigns is to to get more people engaged in natural area protection and restoration. Chicago Wilderness is a regional alliance of organizations interested in protecting the unique Midwestern landscape spanning from Milwaukee to southwestern Michigan.
